Hutton Vale Farm, Henschke, Flaxman and Yalumba are the 2020 winners of Gourmet Travellers Best Eden Valley Cellar doors. These 4 wineries, recently featured in The Real Review top 500 of Australia, have put together a tour, including accommodation food, wine and vineyards for 4 to 8 people over 2 days and 2 nights.
Arrive Friday afternoon to the Hutch Hilton accommodation on Hutton Vale Farm. Enjoy a private wine tasting and learn about all they grow and make on the farm in a caring and sustainable manner.
Make the short drive to explore over 150 years of family winemaking history at Henschke. Allow your host to take you through a journey of Henschke wines.
Then its on to ‘Lunch @ Flaxman’ where you will enjoy a leisurely 2 course lunch of seasonal produce and guided tasting.
Head back to the Hutch Hilton for a good night’s sleep.
Sunday, cook your own breakfast or head into Angaston for an early brunch before heading to Yalumba for the ‘Unlocked experience’.
